Past event
Aspettando la Pitina (“Waiting for the Pitina”) is the series of events leading up to the Festa della Pitina 2026, taking place at Tramonti di Sopra on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November. The theme of this edition is smoking: smoke as a preservation technique, with the pitina at the centre, alongside the other fine smoked foods.
The first event is at Caseificio Celant in Polcenigo, on Saturday 19 September from 3 to 5 pm: a hands-on workshop on smoking ricotta, led by the cheesemakers, with a tasting at the end.
