The relaunch with Slow Food

The year the festival changed pace: within the Pro Loco’s 47th Festa della Montagna came the Slow Food Condotta del Pordenonese, the first Earth Market with producers from six European countries, the conference on protection marks for small-scale production and the Cooks’ Alliance kitchen. “We went from a classic festival menu to a menu based entirely on pitina.” On the Saturday the walk to Frassaneit, cradle of the pitina; on the Sunday the pitina-making demonstration by Filippo Bier.
